Denim Day Sticker Request for Sexual Assault Awareness Month
In 1999, the Italian Supreme Court overturned the conviction of a rapist after judges argued that, "because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them...and by removing the jeans...it was no longer rape but consensual sex." In response, the Denim Day campaign was created as a form of visual protest against the myths of sexual assault and the attitudes of rape culture.

On Wednesday, April 24th we ask members of the ASU Community to participate in this international day of awareness by wearing denim along with a sticker sponsored by the ASU Sexual and Relationship Violence Prevention Program. Fill out the form below to request stickers for your department or organization, and don't forget to check out other Sexual Assault Awareness Month events happening all month!

All sticker requests must be made by Wednesday, April 10th at 11:59pm in order to have them delivered by Friday, April 19th. Any requests made after April 11th will need to be picked up at the front desk of any Sun Devil Fitness Complex or at one of the Denim Day information tables across the Downtown, Polytechnic and West campuses on April 23rd and across the Tempe campus on April 24th.
