She is currently working on her BFA in Dance Education at Arizona State University, post-modern dance and multidisciplinary performance art, which continuously inspires her to play an active role in the expansion of the dance community in Arizona. Mayberry recently completed training in the Kennedy Center Arts Integration method through ASU Gammage as a teaching artist trained in the Kennedy Center method. She strives to teach health conscious dance training through various creative thinking methods, encouraging her students to find strength and vulnerability through movement.

At the HEART of her artistic work, with 40+ years devoted to arts education, she is recognized as a master teaching artist by the Arizona and Southwest dance community. She is fascinated with human movement - whether that a social justice movement, individuals persisting through systems, or how a body moves through space and time. She is also interested in what interrupts the full expression of movement (stress, trauma, burnout, injuries, chronic pain, etc.). This has guided the evolution of her studies and career path. She worked in higher education as an adjunct professor and administrator for ten years. She taught mind body and group fitness classes for twelve years. She specializes in the intersection of creativity and trauma and is the creator of Trauma-Informed Creative Practices. She is the founder of Grey Box Collective (an interdisciplinary, experimental, post-dramatic, trauma-informed arts organization that devises original performances around topics of social and emotional wellbeing i.e. makes weird art about tough stuff). She is also a certified Trauma Support Specialist, Personal Trainer, a 500-hour experienced yoga teacher (focused on asana, pranayama, and meditation), a registered somatic dance educator, and a Dynamic Embodiment Somatic Movement Therapy practitioner. @mollywschenck

She worked for six years as a professional performer in various independent state productions and throughout her career she directed many student performances in Wuppertal Germany, Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona.

With a B.S degree in Music Education, K-12 and a Master’s Ed. Degree in Deaf Education, K-12 Eileen began her Taiko education in 1992. In 2011 she became director of Fushicho Daiko, a Phoenix based Japanese drumming group that provides private and group classes. Eileen is a proud Molly Blank Fund-ASU Gammage Teaching Artist trained in the Kennedy Center Arts Integration method, refining her curriculum and teaching method to continue to develop dynamic and relevant arts integration programs.

He has brought his wish for hope and new beginnings to the people of his adopted country, the United States, since 1998. He has WA 和 (means "harmonized and peaceful" in Japanese) arts and music classes in his dojo 道場 (Japanese traditional studio) and goes to many public schools in Arizona to share Japanese culture with younger generations using origami, calligraphy, folk tales, folk music, taiko, and other Japanese instruments. He obtained a certified teaching license of the Hiroshima Preservation Taiko Society drumming style and songs and was the first person who outside of Japan with this license.

Since traveling extensively through Mali, Senegal, and Ghana, he has shared his knowledge of West African drums with eager audiences all over Arizona. He uses djembe drums, balaphons, and Caribbean steel drums from Trinidad and Tobago. In the study of music, participants create meaning and expression through the use of listening, attain essential skills in instrumental performance, as well as critical thinking. By understanding the contribution music makes to culture and history, the participants are better prepared to live and work in multicultural settings, enriched by the skills and knowledge acquired through the study of music.

She has worked in Early Childhood Development, leading workshops for parents, teachers, and children. Puppetry, hand in hand with storytelling, music and movement, engages the students in critical, collaborative, and creative thinking.

✓TheatreScienceAudrey Ryanaudrey@chandleryouththeatre.orgAudrey Ryan, Arizona Actor and Theatre Director, recently finished the Molly Blank Fund-Teaching Artist program, gaining her the title of an ASU Gammage Teaching Artist trained in the Kennedy Center Arts Integration method. For her main job, Audrey works as the Director of Productions at Chandler Youth Theatre (CYT). Previously, she graduated summa cum laude in 2019 with a BA in theater and a certificate in secondary theater education from ASU. So far, Audrey has directed over eleven stage productions and five films for CYT, while also teaching acting classes, running music theater camps, and catering drama education to local schools. Before joining CYT, Audrey worked as a choreographer and director for private schools within the Diocese of Phoenix, including Christ the King Catholic School and Seton Catholic Preparatory High School.

Since moving to Phoenix, Breona has planted firm roots in the Phoenix arts community serving as an advocate for the arts during the annual Arts Congress; a yearly opportunity for professional artists to fight for arts advocacy in public schools and funding for public art institutions as well as being one of the head acting instructors at East Valley Children's Theatre. Continuing her passion for arts in education, Conrad became an ASU Gammage Teaching Artist trained in the Kennedy Center Arts Integration Method in 2020.

Elayne hopes to use theater to bridge the chasm in society caused by racial inequality, homophobia, domestic violence, sex trafficking, substance abuse, child welfare, gun violence, cultural separatism, generational poverty and political unrest, to name a few. Theater allows the audience to connect with real world characters who uphold humanity at its highest. Conscious theater must then offer positive, alternative choices to mend these ailments. Elayne is eager to use theater to speak to the world by sharing real life stories, with humor, passion, empathy and intelligence.

Felipa’s background in theatre has provided her with the tools to create social experimental work, focusing on deciphering the woman identity and cultural identity along with their many roles, researching social and cultural layers, to not only develop an understanding of identity, but also practice inclusiveness amongst one another. Felipa is part of the Comun Teatro Experimental Collective that emerges from the need to ferment dialogue, question, listen and sustain an understanding of social issues and thus strengthen the cultural identity of a group/community.

Previously, she taught various subjects at the elementary and high school levels. At Greenway, she conceived and developed the Honors Core, a magnet program for underrepresented, gifted children. She began her own arts integration programs over 15 years ago and has since partnered with Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix Theater, Arizona Opera, among many others.

He has worked with various theatres and schools designing and building sets for theatre and musical productions. In 2014 he received an AriZoni for his set design of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at Mesa Community College. He's also worked outside of the theater world with members of the community to foster creative community spaces, such as with the Creative Catalyst team at the Mesa Arts Center to outfit their MABEL community engagement trailer. The process of creation is just as important as the end product: learning about yourself and the world around you yields the best solutions.

Her expertise is in theatre and explorations of power, diversity, equity, inclusion, and advocacy through learning about race, class, gender, disability, and sexuality. Lizbett works in many areas, including: K-12 education, higher education, the non-profit sector, and community-based grassroots organizations. She holds a doctorate in gender studies, a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in community and social change, and bachelor’s degrees in theatre – acting and directing and women’s and gender studies. Lizbett’s past teaching experience includes an international artist residency in Chengdu, China, in which she used drama to teach English Language Learners ages 10-17 and creating and facilitating an arts-based curriculum for foster care system-involved youth.

Her work involves integrating theater arts, content knowledge, and 21st Century Thinking Skills to meet the learning needs of children. By guiding students to bring story characters to life, Melissa (AKA, Ella Stration) creates experiences in deepening comprehension through textual evidence and understanding character motivation through traits. Melissa has also written curriculum to integrate the arts with academic content and facilitated the implementation of meaningful, arts integrated lessons for K-8 students.
